Batik Puzzle quilt

by Colleen
(Oklahoma)

106

106" x 106"

My first excursion into the world of Batiks. I really had a challenge in choosing the right color gradations for each block section to match. Each and every piece was cut singly and matched by color to the corresponding section on the puzzle pattern. I machine quilted this one on my Bernina because I no longer hand quilt and I did not want an all over pattern to cross my puzzle blocks. It was done in several sections and it is for our king size bed.
This quilt is my favorite!
