Our Second Quilting Retreat March 2009

The ladies arrived on Friday evening with cars bursting at the seams with unfinished projects. I had the studio all ready for them to hit the ground sewing!!!

They unloaded their bags and started right away. Even CJ the cat got into the action...he loves retreats!!!!

The next morning everyone fueled up for the long sewing day ahead

The design wall was used a lot...this is Colleen's sampler blocks and Butterfly panel quilt

as was the ironing board and sewing machines..

Paula was a whiz at machine quilting!

As usual the time just flew by while the projects were completed. This is Colleen's Double Irish Chain

..and Paula's assembled quilt
