Quilting Retreats on the Beautiful Sunshine Coast of British Columbia

Escape from the everyday hustle and bustle with your quilting friends and just stack, whack, baste, sew
and....Quilt!!!

Experience the ultimate in quilting retreats.

Join us for a few days of uninterrupted sewing and friendship!!! We do all the cooking and cleaning up -- you just sew (well, you may want to take a wee walk up the hill to see the breathtaking view).

Quilting retreats are so much fun AND you get so much accomplished, it could very well become a habit.

A View of Our Home

We are located in Sechelt on the beautiful Sunshine Coast of British Columbia. It is in close proximity (a quick ferry ride) from Vancouver and the Lower Mainland including; Richmond, Burnaby, Surrey, New Westminister as well as Squamish and Whistler.

My studio can accommodate from 2-5 people (well, maybe 6 in a pinch). That's the entrance you see on the lower level. Irons and ironing boards are supplied and there is a great design wall for you to use. I also have batting and other quilting materials you may require, if you happen to forget your own.

Just off the quilting studio is a guest room with two single beds. Adjacent to that is a sitting room with a queen size hide-a-bed, as well as a mini kitchen (fridge for your wine, kettle, coffee maker, and microwave) and bathroom with shower.

One floor up, on the main floor is another guest room with a double sized brass bed and private bathroom in the hall.

We supply all the food -- breakfast, a light lunch and a sit down dinner. Coffee, tea, and home baked goodies are available anytime. We promise you won't go hungry!

All you need to bring are your unfinished projects and quilting materials, plus any special snacks or drinks that you may wish. Having trouble with a project? I'm here to help!

Typically, you would arrive in the afternoon and after a little relaxation (or not!) you would start sewing. You can sew as long as you wish, time flies so fast and its so much fun that before you know it, it could be 2am. Need some assistance or advice? I'm happy to lend a hand.

The next day you can start sewing before breakfast - even in your jammies (or sleep in if you wish) and only stop for meals!! Woohoo!!! No interruptions!! No phone, no laundry calling your name, just sewing and fun, fun, fun!!!

If you have never experienced a quilting retreat, give it a try. Chances are it will be the first of many.

If you don't have a project on the go and would like to start a new one, you could select one from quilting classes I teach

I also have a longarm quilting machine. If you don't have the time to finish your project, just leave it with me.

Our standard rate for all this fun is $95 per person per night. A non refundable deposit of $25 per person is required to confirm your booking. We would also like to know about your food preferences and allergies. For more information or to book your retreat Contact Me

This is the view from just up the road!!!

On a clear night you can see the city lights across the Straits on Vancouver Island.
